About the Owner
After 19 years running the Lake Lemon Marina, the Schell family decided to retire from the Marina biz and have passed the torch onto new owners. We, the new owners, are a father/son duo-- both named Steve Werner (son goes by Stephen when Dad is around)-- who have spent many seasons at Lake Lemon and have come to love it as much as all of you. We are very thankful to be inheriting such a solid legacy of hospitality and community service from the Schells. We hope only to build on the goodwill the Schells have earned from you over the years. Big Steve retired at the end of 2021 from his demolition / environmental abatement business after over 20 years and built his new home right down the street from the Marina in 2019. He is excited to run the day-to-day and be the new face of the Marina for all of you. Stephen is a tech executive and attorney most days but will be assisting Big Steve as much as possible to make the Marina as great for you as it can be. We have lots of ideas for improvements.Amenities
